I’m Belinda. As a child, my nickname was Posh, hence Posh Panache Crochet. I had no idea where the world of crochet would take me, so I can’t say exactly when I started. At best, I can say it has been about 4 years since I found my LOVE of this thang though!
I taught myself the way most newly initiated Black girls do, YouTube! Being anal, I supplemented my studies with loads of books from the library though. This combination, I think, began my journey towards what I’d ultimately become - a crochet pattern designer!
I refer to what I do in this way because it is the aspect of crochet that I truly add value to your goals within this craft. I DESIGN patterns! Every color used, new line inserted, hyperlink, etc. is done so with Black women in mind. The way WE learn. Our rhythmic motion & flow. Our bodies - CENTERED.
