All the parts of who you are make up the divinely complex whole of being a Black Woman. When any part of this complicated formula is hurt, underdeveloped, or just outright tired, the ENTIRE self is negatively impacted. WE are responsible for creating & sustaining spaces to meet our unique holistic needs. At the center of these spaces is self-care. More specifically, a re-imagining of what self-care IS authored not only by us, but through us. No other group of people balance what the Black Woman has & continues to. The self-care of mental, physical & spiritual well-being can no longer remain a secondary priority if the Black community is to heal.

Your wildest dreams are waiting for you. The village of women you’ve needed to make those dreams reality is here.  Despite what we’ve been made to believe, our strength lies in our DIFFERENCES. As we return to the necessary practice of honoring those differences, we will remember the collective power being a Black Woman blesses us with.

Each of us, in our own way, tend to put others first. However, in doing so, we oftentimes neglect our relationship with ourselves...with each other. In this space we will remember our ancestors & the true & abiding essence of love.

So what do you need? A mentor? A shoulder? An accountability partner? A platform? Resources? Not sure? It’s ok.

Take a look around & see if the space you have been waiting for. I look forward to seeing you in the hallway. Just because you are, I love you.

Re-defining the Village

Love. Marriage. Children. Work. Conduct. Hobbies. Dating. Interests. Parenting. Relaxation. Barbecues. Black while…LIVING? …& so much more!

We are working off some outdated information. A system & process of things that we did not author. We must, for the 1st time since our MAAFA, figure out our own definition for what constitutes the Village. What types of hands make the work lighter? How did past generations do in preparing the world to hand over to us & how will we hand it over to the next generation? What collective legacies are we preparing for our babies? What individual contributions are we making to the village? Are we not more than conquerors? Let’s talk about it.

BOSS UP: Making Black Dollars Make Sense

One spot. Many hands. Light work.

From the ability to reach, support & purchase from OUR own ranks carving out their rightful place within the creative world, to a platform that addresses the financial illiteracy plaguing too many urban centers; to the much needed ability to offer clients payment options better suited to circumstance; to the infinite ability to circulate the Black dollar all in one space, we are taking a 360° Black approach to what a marketplace looks like when it’s BY US, intended FOR US, & guided by WHO WE ARE.

GOAL: To have, within this ONE site, the connective tissue that begins to answer the question that seems to continually plague us: How do we actually turn the tide within the Afrakan diaspora?

The Black Panther Party provided bread crumbs for us to answer this deafening silent call when they showed us that you MUST 1st care for the PEOPLE. It is, after all, the people who must collectively do the work of lasting change!

To this end, we seek to offer a holistic means through which we may do this work. Some of the initiatives we are actively exploring include consignment agreements, the ability to offer potential clients options allowing them to pay over time, shared investment opportunities, financial accountability partnerships & education, & much more.

Time is an amazing teacher! If we heed the lessons offered, we KNOW that ‘going it alone’ is not the path to longevity nor success. Fill out & submit the form below to explore the avenues shared here OR to discuss what you feel should be added.
